Car show takes spotlight on Sunday at Railroad Days

Legends Car Club will bring its popular classic car show to Snoqualmie's main drag Sunday of Railroad Days. The annual event draws hundreds of collectors and plenty of admirers to the final day of the Snoqualmie community's home-town celebration.

Legends Car Club will bring its popular classic car show to Snoqualmie’s main drag Sunday of Railroad Days. The annual event draws hundreds of collectors and plenty of admirers to the final day of the Snoqualmie community’s home-town celebration.

Cars can be entered in 20 categories: Stock to ’56; stock ’57 to ’65; stock ’66 and older; modified to ’50; modified ’51 and older; stock truck; modified truck; street rod to ’48; custom ’49 and older; Chevy Tri Five (’55, ’56, 57); ’80 and older; sports car, two-seater; unfinished; orphan; foreign; Ford muscle car ’60 and older; GM muscle car ’60 and older; Mopar muscle car ’60 and older; ’31 and older stock; modern muscle (2005 and older); and special interest.

The show starts at 8 a.m. Sunday, along Railroad Avenue. Award announcements will be made at 3 p.m. from the announcer’s booth, on the corner of Railroad and River.

The announcer will also lead a series of games and activities, like the popular water balloon toss.
