Artists of all skill levels are invited to participate at the Snoqualmie Arts Commission’s Plein Air Paint Out event, starting at 9 a.m. on Aug. 20 during Railroad Days.
At 3 p.m., the Snoqualmie Arts Commission will select the top three works at a free artist reception at the Black Dog Arts Cafe.
The first place winner’s work will be highlighted as the 2016 Plein Air Paint Out poster. Second and third place finishers will receive gift cards for Daniel Smith, an artist materials store in Seattle and Bellevue. All competing paintings must be finished on the day of the event.
Registration is free and open in advance, but registrations on the day of the event will also be accepted at the Railroad Park Gazebo. Advance registration forms are available on the Arts Commission page of the city website.
