Compass Outdoor Adventures will host a four-day Search for Sasquatch.

Jan. 16

Dry January Quitters Party, 3 p.m.: Say an early goodbye to “dry January” at Pearl and Stone Wine Co. with the release of the winery’s 2018 Library Wine and an evening of live music.

Teen artist hangout, 6-8 p.m.: Duvall’s Northwest Art Center hosts a casual art meetup for teens. The center provides the studio, supplies, ideas, art demos, a supportive environment, soda and snacks free of charge. Ryan Sullivan, an accomplished illustrator, currently attending Lake Washington Institute of Technology, will lead the club, answering questions, offering ideas and demonstrating techniques. Disney’s “The Little Mermaid Jr.” presented by Cascade Community Theatre: Duvall’s Cascade Community Theatre’s newest production is a class story, reimagined for young audiences in mind. It features two 30-minute acts with a short intermission. Families can enjoy themed crafts, photo opportunities, sweet treats and an immersive “under the sea” experience that brings the world of the show to life. Performances are at Wagner Performing Arts Center in Monroe. Friday shows are at 7 p.m. Saturday shows are at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets vary in price and can be purchased at cctplays.ludus.com.

Annual Search for Sasquatch: Join Compass Outdoor Adventures in its fourth Search for Sasquatch, a family-friendly multi-day event of missions all over North Bend that ends in prizes and benefits the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank. Registration is $40 per team and can be done at compassoutdooradventures.com/searchforsasquatch, where more information is available.

Jan. 20

Fall City Reading ReTreet, 2-3 p.m.: Join a Fall City librarian for a monthly meetup in the heated gazebo behind Aroma Coffee Co. Enjoy a lively discussion about books, reading and the library — or simply relax with your favorite read.

Beginner ukulele workshops: The Fall City Library is hosting beginner ukulele workshops for kids, teens and adults to learn basic chords and simple strums. Instruments will be provided or bring your own. The kid workshop is from 5-5:45 p.m. The teen and adult workshop is from 6-7 p.m.

Textile Tuesday at Big Block Brewing, 6:30-8:30 p.m.: Drop into Carnation’s Big Block Brewing with your crochet, knitting, cross-stitch or any fiber project. Craft, sip and connect with fellow makers.

Jan. 22

Beginner crochet course, part one, 5:30-7:30 p.m.: Instructor Megan Cave will teach a beginner crochet course across three separate Thursdays at North Bend Art & Industry’s Center for Creativity. Students will learn how to use basic tools, create essential stitches, read simple patterns and complete a finished project. Materials will be provided for the first session, and students will be instructed on materials needed for the following sessions, which are Feb. 5 and Feb. 19. Registration is $90 and can be done at northbendartandindustry.org/all.

Bubbly and bingo, 6 p.m.: Join Pearl and Stone Wine Co. in North Bend for an evening of wine, bingo and an apres ski theme. Guests are encouraged to dress to impress in cabin-chic attire.

Jan. 25

Duvall community auction, 2-4:30 p.m.: The Grange restaurant and the organizers of March of the Vegetables are teaming up for a community auction. Stop by the restaurant for a glass of wine or seltzer and pursue a variety of items to bid on, from art and jewelry to zoo tickets to haircuts. All are welcome to bid or just be in community.
