The Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum has published a new edition of “A History of Snoqualmie Valley,” by Ada Snyder Hill.

Hill, founder of the museum and friend to early pioneers, gathered their stories for more than 20 years and published them in her history. Her biographical sketches cover “the early settlers” who came to the area before 1880 and “the later settlers” of 1880 to 1889. Both groups are recognized as pioneers.

The latest edition, the seventh printing, includes Hill’s autobiography and many new photographs.

The book is available for purchase at the museum, 320 Bendigo Blvd. S., North Bend, or online at http://www.snoqualmievalleymuseum.org.

The Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum is operated by the Snoqualmie Valley Historical Society, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation.

Museum hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday to Tuesday, from April to October, and noon to 4 p.m. Monday to Tuesday, or by appointment, from November to March.
