Eastside Catholic announces Class of 2017 valedictorians, salutatorians

Eastside Catholic High School has announced its Class of 2017 valedictorians and salutatorians.

Valedictorians include Jamie Krueger of North Bend, who plans to attend Montana State University, and Paul Riddle of Snoqualmie. Also among the valedictorians are: Andrew Charters, Woodinville; and Rachel DePencier and Maria Gregg, Sammamish.

Salutatorians in the class include Elena Beeck, Redmond; Henry Gilchrist, Bellevue; and Adrenne Co and Shubra Tewari, Sammamish.

“This year’s group of valedictorians and salutatorians are incredibly talented and span a wide range of interests—from coding to theatre, band and athletics, our top academic students reflect the wide range of interests our entire student body embraces,” High School Principal Dr. Justyna King said.

The Eastside Catholic High School graduation ceremony will be at 7:30 p.m., Monday, June 5, at Benaroya Hall in Seattle. Baccalaureate will be 7 p.m. Friday, June 2, at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sammamish.
