In all the hubbub about obstruction of justice, in all the tragedy over the shootings at the baseball field, the Republicans are quietly trying to pass a revision to the Affordable Care Act without transparency, without debate, or without open hearings. The reason, I assume, is that it’s an abomination and wouldn’t survive the light of day.

Under this new ACHA, millions of people will lose their health care. Lifetime caps on benefits will seal the fates of people who struggle with serious medical issues. And millions of others will fall into the widened definition of a pre-existing condition.

Congress plans to exempt themselves from these rules.

We want transparency in our government. We want equality. We want debate. We want representation. Expose this revised ACHA bill!
