Mount Si will be well represented at this week’s Sea-King district track meet to be held at the Southwest Athletic complex in West Seattle. Fifteen girls and 11 boys will make the trip after Mount Si finished second and third for boys and girls, respectively, in team totals at a league meet at Liberty High School last week.

For the boys, Frank McLaughlin had a spectacular meet. He won both the 200 and 400 in dominating time. His time of 22.61 in the 200 was nearly eight-tenths of a second faster than the second-place finisher. His time of 49.99 in the 400 was more than a second faster than the nearest competitor and set a new school record.

Keith Keller set a new school and Kingco record in the javelin with a distance of 189 feet, 6 inches to win that event. His nearest competitor was 20 feet away
