6. Why are you running for office? I’m running for office
because not enough is being done in Olympia when it come to providing
quality public education, affordable health care and effective transportation
solutions. Dino and Underwood have both been rated “good,” but I know
I’m better. I know I’m better when it comes to saying no to the NRA, no to
tobacco, yes to pro-choice and yes to our teachers and the quality of life we
deserve.
7. What are the issues that the constituents in your area would
like you to address? Did not answer question.
8. How would you address those issues?
Did not answer question.
9. In the Snoqualmie Valley, as well as throughout the
Puget Sound region, growth is a major concern of many residents. Is
the state Growth Management Act effective in helping local
governments make smart decisions about development? Should it be
changed? How should it be changed? NO!
10. What can state legislators do to address concerns about
protecting salmon and salmon habitat? We can restrict fishing and
encourage preservation.
11. Water is becoming scarcer as more people move into the
area. One example of that is the North Fork of the Issaquah Creek
drying up this summer. What can be done to protect our water resources?
We need to build more reserves to store our natural resources so we can
have it during those dry times.
12. Lastly, why should a voter cast his or her ballot for you?
Voters should cast their vote for me because I will go to Olympia and fight for
issues that are important to us all, not just a few. I will help find solutions
to our traffic mess and make sure our seniors, children and disabled
are taken care of.
