Fall City’s Jaren Schattenkerk is Eastside Catholic valedictorian

Fall City student Jared Schattenkerk is one of two valedictorians for Eastside Catholic School’s class of 2013.

Schattenkerk is co-valedictorian with Addison Klinke of Sammamish. Salutatorians are Brandon Engman of Newcastle, Kylie McMillan, Lucas Heflin, Nicolette Dworkin of Sammamish, Sarah Lewis of Redmond and Sarah Richardson of Woodinville.

Graduation is today, Sunday, June 9, on campus in the EC Gymnasium.

Eastside Catholic School is a Catholic faith-based educational community where students in grades 6  through 12 learn to integrate their thinking and believing in ways that encourage intellectual  excellence, nurture relationships, and inspire a life of leadership and service to others. Founded by  parents in 1980, the school is governed by an elected Board of Trustees. It is the only seven-year, coeducational Catholic school on the Eastside, enrolls 885 students, employs 120 faculty and staff members and has an alumni base of more than 3,500.
