The Snoqualmie Valley School District has partnered with the Snoqualmie Valley Hospital to set up a vaccination clinic.

The clinic, located at district middle schools, will offer the Pfizer vaccine for those 12 and older and any needed back-to-school immunizations for those 11 and older.

Appointments for first doses will be Aug. 17-19. Second doses will happen three weeks later, from Sept. 7-9. Those looking to get a vaccine should bring a signed consent form for each vaccine requested. Those over 18, and parents whose children are receiving a vaccine, will need an ID. Residents should register no later than 2:30 p.m. the day before their vaccination.

COVID-19 vaccines are free and do not require health insurance. Non-COVID vaccines will be free for students. Adults who want a non-COVID vaccine should provide insurance on their general consent form.

COVID-19 cases have risen between 300-599% in King County over the last 30 days, according to the state Department of Health. Cases are also rising in the Snoqualmie Valley. Unvaccinated people are being hit hardest by the surge. Public health officials continue to urge everyone who has not gotten fully vaccinated to do so immediately.

The district encourages those who are eligible to get vaccinated to reduce the chance of missed school time. The Department of Health said vaccinated individuals without symptoms do not have to quarantine if they come in contact with a positive case.
