North Bend is celebrating Holly Days, a weekend of holiday events including shopping, movies, live theater and a tree lighting event with a visit from Santa, too.

The fun starts Friday, Dec. 1, with the Mt. Si Senior Center’s annual holiday bazaar, running from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the senior center, 411, Main Ave. S.

Valley Center Stage presents its holiday show all weekend, with shows at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and a 2 p.m. matinee Sunday.

Saturday starts at the Mt. Si Senior Center with a pancake breakfast with Santa and photos, 8:30 to 11 a.m. The holiday bazaar will continue, too, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A few blocks away, Si View Parks will also host a holiday bazaar, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the community center, 400 SE Orchard Dr.

If you need a break from shopping you can enjoy a free holiday movie, 2 p.m. at the North Bend Theater, but be sure to get back to the festivities downtown from 4 to 7 for a full schedule of live music, tractor rides, the tree lighting and Santa’s arrival.

The schedule includes live performances on an outdoor stage, sponsored by the North Bend Theater, as follows:

4 p.m. – Twin Falls Middle School Jazz Band

4:25 p.m. – Valley Center Stage, A Christmas Carol sneak peak

4:30 p.m. – Veils of the Nile

5 p.m. – Ignite Dance, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”
