Eastside Catholic High School senior Kirena Cornthwaite of Carnation was named a winner of the Silver Key in the National Scholastic Art and Writing Contest at Cornish School of the Arts, in Seattle Feb. 19.

Other Eastside Catholic art winners invited to show works at Cornish included Christian Witkop and Daniel Wright, both Silver Key winners. Honorable mentions went to Elizabeth Brummer, Jacqueline Mae Frey, Madeline Kerbs, Haley Killeen, Mckenzie Lane, Sean Murphy, Alec Parriott.
