Valley marketing students attending Eastside Catholic High School were among the school’s 22 DECA students to qualify for state competition, March 3 to 5 in Bellevue.

Gage Hefty of Snoqualmie qualified in the Buying and Merchandising Team category. Marisa Jones, also of Snoqualmie, qualified in Public Relations Campaign and Matt Wittress of North Bend qualified in Principles of Marketing.

These students will compete against 3,600 students from across the state for an opportunity to attend the International Career Development Conference in April held in Nashville, Tenn.
