The first workshop, “Energy, Fossil Fuel and Water Use and Conservation,” is 7 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at North Bend City Hall, 211 Main Ave. N.
North Bend is developing an “Energy and Sustainability Element” in the city’s comprehensive plan to address topics including energy and water conservation, fossil fuel use, greenhouse gas emissions, waste reduction, and green building practices, with the aim of making fiscally responsible decisions.
This workshop will look at broad trends relating to electrical energy use, fossil fuel use, and water use and conservation in North Bend and the larger community. Learn more at www.northbendwa.gov, under “Sustainability Initiatives.”
