At 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, police responded to an in-progress bank robbery at the Sno Falls Credit Union at 320 Mt. Si Blvd. in North Bend.

According to the Snoqualmie Police Department, one suspect entered the bank and passed a note to the teller stating that he was armed with a gun and would kill everyone in the vicinity, including himself.

Minutes later, a responding police sergeant saw the suspect run from the scene and enter a black sedan with a second suspect. When the sergeant attempted a traffic stop, the suspects fled onto westbound Interstate 90 toward Seattle, initiating a pursuit.

The suspects exited I-90 on Mercer Island, 23 miles west of North Bend, hit three cars and re-entered I-90, according to police.

The pursuit ended near exit 8 on Mercer Island after an assisting agency stopped the getaway car using a pursuit intervention technique.

During the investigation, officers learned the first suspect left the bank with $10. The black sedan was stolen from Maple Valley earlier that same day.

Both 15-year-old suspects were booked into Seattle’s King County Children and Family Justice Center on Friday, with one of them having been previously convicted of second-degree robbery.
