North Bend man arrested for possessing explicit images of minors

The Snoqualmie Police Department announced in a statement Thursday they had arrested a 72-year-old North Bend man for the possession and distribution of sexually explicit material containing minors.

With assistance from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Snoqualmie Police served a search warrant and discovered the man in possession of sexually explicit photos and videos, according to a press release. The man has been taken into custody and there is no threat to the community, police said. The case remains under investigation
