The body of an unidentified woman was recovered from the Snoqualmie River near Carnation Saturday, Feb. 5, according to a King County Sheriff’s spokesperson.

At this time, it is unknown if this is the same woman who went missing following a car crash near Fall City on Jan. 9. The King County Medical Examiner has yet to release a statement on the victim’s identity.

The body was recovered near Oxbow Farm around 4:30 p.m. Saturday by the Sheriff’s Marine Unit. Officials estimate that the body was found about 12 to 15 miles downriver from a submerged truck, where the body of a six-year old boy, who went missing in the same Jan. 9 incident, was found.
