North Bend Farmers Market returns for its 14th season

The North Bend Farmers Market is officially up and running for its 14th season. Despite the on-and-off rain, community members gathered to support their local farmers.

“That was quite the exciting opening day from a weather perspective,” Minna Rudd of Si View Metro Parks said about the rain squalls. “Nonetheless, we are excited to have opened our 14th season at Si View Park…Opening day is always a delightful time to visit with many returning customers and vendors. The sense of community that has been built around the market is rather remarkable.”

In the coming weeks, Rudd said they will be adding more vendors to the mix.

Each week — except for July 4 — customers can enjoy the vendor mix which includes fresh produce, berries, honey, flowers and botanicals, baked goods, specialty items, prepared foods and a variety of handcrafted goods. Customers can also enjoy the Si View Park Summer Concert series.

The market will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Thursday through Sept. 12 at Si View Park (400 SE Orchard Dr. in North Bend).
