North Bend seeks applicants for two vacancies on city Parks Commission

The city of North Bend is seeking to fill two vacancies on the Parks, Recreation, and Beautification Commission, Position 1, with a term expiring Dec. 31, 2017 and Position 7, with a term expiring Dec. 31, 2019.
The Parks, Recreation, and Beautification Commission consists of six members, each serving four-year terms, and a youth member, serving a one-year term. The commission is an advisory body to the North Bend City Council, providing guidance and direction in meeting the parks, recreational, and beautification needs of the city.
Commission meetings are typically held every other month, on a Wednesday evening.
Anyone who resides within the North Bend city limits and is interested in serving on this commission is urged to submit an application. Application forms are available at City Hall, 211 Main Ave. N. The forms may also be printed from the city’s website, https://wa-northbend.civicplus.com/Archive.aspx?ADID=3081. To have an application form mailed to you, contact the city clerk at (425) 888-7627.
