Sunday, May 29
Theft: At 8:48 p.m., police received a report of a theft in progress on Norman Avenue, Snoqualmie. The caller reported seeing a man and a woman, ages 18 to 20, take a toy from a neighbor’s yard and drive off. Police contacted the subjects, who had gone to a nearby park to play with the toy. They said they thought the toy had been abandoned, since it was sitting in the roundabout for weeks.
Monday, May 30
Drugs: At 3:13 p.m., a caller complained that a man riding in a semi was smoking something out of a can. The caller then reported the man was heading toward Truck Town on a skateboard. An officer contacted the subject, who showed no sign of intoxication.
Thursday, June 2
Intoxicated, not driving: At 4:12 p.m., police and medical aid responded to a report of a couple who had been drinking and were associated with a white Honda in the parking lot in the 400 block of S.W. Mount Si Boulevard. The woman said neither of them had been driving. Both had suspended licenses. The man was transported to an area hospital.
Threats: At 9:57 p.m., police were called to a business on W. North Bend Way, where a store employee reported being threatened by a subject who the employee believed had purchased alcohol for a minor. Police located the subject and arrested him on an outstanding warrant.
Friday, June 3
Theft: At 2:52 p.m., a theft victim reported to police that her purse and credit card were stolen from her vehicle while she was using a vending machine in the 200 block of Bendigo Boulevard. The card had been used at Bartell Drugs to charge $118 worth of items.
Fall City Fire Department
Thursday, June 2
Crash: At 6:22 a.m., Fall City and Snoqualmie firefighters responded to the Fall City Roadhouse for a single-vehicle accident. A sedan crashed into the side of the building. The driver of the vehicle momentarily lost consciousness, causing the accident, officials reported. The driver was otherwise uninjured, but the wall and window of the building were damaged.
Friday, June 3
Accident: At 1:06 p.m., firefighters responded to a motor-vehicle accident in the 36000 block of N.E. 80th Street. One patient was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
Fall: At 8:02 p.m., firefighters assisted a man in his 60s who had fallen in the 32900 block of Redmond-Fall City Road S.E. They took the man to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.
Saturday, June 4
Mental health: At 11:54 a.m., Fall City Fire and King County deputies were called to the Sammamish area to assist a 21-year-old patient who needed to be taken to a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
Broken tailbone: At 2:31 p.m., the department was called to the 32900 block of Redmond-Fall City Road S.E. to assist a woman who’d broken her tailbone. They took her to a local hospital.
Sunday, June 5
Paralysis: At 1:52 p.m., Fall City firefighters responded to the North Bend area for a 52-year-old patient who had suffered temporary paralysis. The patient was taken to a local hospital.
Bike accident: At 5:57 p.m., the department was dispatched to the 33800 block of Redmond Fall City Road S.E. where a bicycle accident was reported. One patient was taken to a local hospital.
Tuesday, June 7
Broken leg: At 11:27 a.m., firefighters responded to the 37200 block of Fish Hatchery Road S.E. to assist a 52-year-old woman who broke her leg falling off a log. They stabilized her and took her to a local hospital for treatment.
Pole down: At 4:48 p.m., the department received a report of a telephone pole that had been damaged in a motor vehicle accident and was lying across State Route 202. Firefighters cut the pole and moved it to the side of the road.

Monday, June 6
Alarm: At 4:37 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to an automatic fire alarm at Retail 6, a doctor’s office. All occupants were out of the building when the crew arrived. They checked the system and found the source of the alarm was a smoke detector directly under a storage refrigerator that had been moved there. They reset the alarm and contacted maintenance.
Tuesday, June 7
Oversized fire: At 10:36 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to a report of smoke in the area of Ernie’s Grove. They arrived to find a burn pile, approximately 10 feet by 10 feet. The home owner said he had a county burn permit, but the permit allowed a maximum size of four feet by three feet. He said he would allow the fire to burn down to the permitted size. Firefighters noted that he had taken safety precautions, including setting the fire in a defensible area surrounded by clear space, with a tractor and water nearby.
Medical aid: In addition, Snoqualmie EMTs responded to 16 medical aid incidents, bringing the total number of calls to date to 454.
