Memorial Day observances planned for Upper Valley cemeteries

On Monday, the American Legion will observe Memorial Day with events at all of the Upper Valley cemeteries.

Services will be at 9 a.m. at the Preston Cemetery, 10 a.m. at Fall City, 11 a.m. at North Bend and noon at the Snoqualmie American Legion Post, 38625 S.E. River St. Local Scout troops and the Snoqualmie American Legion Post 79 Honor Guard will present flag ceremonies.

A free community lunch will follow the observance at the Snoqualmie American Legion.
