North Bend woman celebrates 100 years

Kay Kohlruss of North Bend recently celebrated her 100th birthday.
Kohlruss, born April 14, 1916, in Great Falls, Mont., moved to North Bend in 1947.
She started a Campfire Girls troop that same year. In the 60s, she owned Mount Si Bowl, now known as Adventure Bowling Center in Snoqualmie.
She and her husband Walter have several children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Her children are Lynn Kohlruss, Bea Kohlruss, daughters-in-law Darla Kohlruss and Carolyn Cox, and son-in-law Bill Cox.
Grandchildren are Linda Kohlruss, Mark Kohlruss and Michelle Kohlruss.
Great-grandchildren are Vanessa Riley, Keegan Riley, Michael Riley, Stevie Riley, Savanna Kohlruss, Cameron Kohlruss, Jackson McClintock and her great-great grandson is Luke Jiminez.
