Langlois Lake near Carnation will be open for a one-day fishing season Saturday, April 16, for anglers participating in the Project Healing Waters fishing event.
The season, for all game fish, starts one hour before official sunrise and runs to one hour after official sunset.
Fish will be stocked three to four days prior to the event to acclimate them. On the day of the event, pre-registered veterans will be permitted to fish throughout the lake from boats captained by Trout Unlimited Volunteers.
Project Healing Waters supports projects for the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fishing.
The one-day event is hosted by the Bellevue/Issaquah Chapter of Trout Unlimited and the North Bend Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
