Help plant native trees and shrubs along the river bank in celebration of the earth, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 16, with Stewardship Partners and the Boeing Company.
The organizations are celebrating Earth Month with a bank restoration project at the confluence of Ames Creek and the Snoqualmie River. This historic site is part of a multi-generational farm and is currently home to a field of flowers tended by the Hmong community.
Lunch, light refreshments, tools and gloves are provided. As part of the Earth Day Celebration the event includes native Northwest plant walks and a salmon talk and walk along the river.
