Master gardeners talk vegetable-growing at two sessions March 12

The Snoqualmie Valley King County WSU Master Gardeners Clinic will host two new workshops in their “In the Garden” series on Saturday, March 12.

Veggies 201, geared toward experienced vegetable gardeners, starts at 10:30 a.m. at the North Bend Library. Veggies 101, for beginners, will be presented at 1:30 p.m. at Sammamish City Hall.

Valley Master Gardeners will share their experience in growing a vegetable garden. Both programs will cover location, amending the soil, what and when to plant, and other key factors in successful vegetable gardening. A question and answer period will follow the presentations.

Both sessions are free and open to the public.
