New art appearing at visitor center

Take in local art and sample wines at the artist reception for a new show at the North Bend Visitor Information Center and Mountain View Art Gallery.

Artists from the Mount Si Art Guild will present works from their group show, “Visions of the Valley, at the reception, 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 at the gallery, 250 Bendio Blvd. Beaded jewelry from Linda Gisbrecht, and found object mobiles from Kirsten Kunhart are part of the show, and photographer Mary Miller will be on hand to sign her scenic calendars.

Local winery Piccola Cellars will offer wines for tasting, and Girl Scouts will take cookie orders.
