Valley Girl Scouts on a coat, clothes drive for the needy

Getting ready for the cold season, Girl Scouts in Service Unit #442 in the Upper Valley are collecting new or gently used winter coats, clothes and shoes for families in need.

Items are needed for all ages, from infants to teens, men and women.

Scouts are setting up drop boxes in different locations in the Valley, collecting coats from Sept. 20 to 27. Sites include:

• North Bend Theatre, 125 Bendigo Blvd. N., North Bend;

• Snoqualmie Library, 7824 Center Blvd. S.E., Snoqualmie;

• Gearhead Garage, 43424 S.E. North Bend Way, North Bend;

• Claffey’s Painting, 204 Ballarat Ave. N., North Bend;
