Lumberjack athlete David Moses headed to U.S. championships

Snoqualmie’s own David Moses will travel across the country starting Monday to compete in the Stihl Timbersports U.S. Championship.
The national lumberjack sports competition is June 7 through 9, part of the Great Smoky Mountain Lumberjack Feud in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. The competition will be streamed live online at stihltimbersports.us and is being filmed by Outdoor Channel cameras to air this summer.
Moses will go head-to-head against the top lumberjack athletes in the country for the coveted U.S. Champion title, a brand new Ram Truck and the opportunity to represent the U.S. in the World Championship in Stuttgart, Germany, this fall.
He lives in Snoqualmie and is a competitor with his wife, Annette, and father, David Moses, Sr. Moses is one of eight western qualifiers to attend.
