Angling for their next catch: Family fishing on the Snoqualmie

Preston Hansen, 7, fishes the Snoqualmie with his uncle, Valley resident Sean Absher, in August. Preston, of Vancouver, Wash., was visiting family, and Sean agreed to take him fishing, on condition that Preston be the fisherman. He caught and released 10 trout, from small fry to 13-inchers.

Sean is a Snoqualmie police officer.
