Farmers with the Sno-Valley Tilth are hosting their second annual country harvest festival fundraiser, a pig roast and country auction 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Jubilee Farm in Carnation.

The event includes a silent auction with many donated gifts and services, a dinner and live auction featuring George Magnochi, a local dairyman and famous auctioneer who will tempt you to bid for dozens of items. Also part of the event is a ‘greased pole’ climb, farm games and wagon rides, and organic local pit roasted pork dinner with fresh Valley produce, Washington wines and beer on tap.

The evening will finish with hootenanny music with a bit of square dance, and a bit hoedown for all. Tickets are $20 and include dinner, children 12 and under free, or come after dinner and enjoy the auction free for all.

Sno-Valley Tilth supports organic and sustainable food production practices throughout the Snoqualmie and Snohomish watersheds. To learn more, visit www.snovalleytilth.org.
