State track held in Pasco

Mount Si High School sent seven competitors to the state track meet held in Pasco this past weekend. Three from the girls’ team placed in their respective events. Piper Sherbon placed sixth in the shot and third in the triple jump. Teammate Caitlin Braun took third in the discus. Kristen Berndt placed second in the javelin with a throw of 129 feet, 10 inches, 1 foot, 10 inches behind first place.
