Round and round at the NB roundabout

If contractor bids for North Bend’s proposed roundabout at Cedar Falls and North Bend ways come in high again, some City Council members suggested replacing it with a stoplight.

The advantage of a traffic circle was that it was supposed to be cost-effective over the years, he said. So far, the numbers aren’t panning out that way, councilmembers said.
