Red Wolves make it to finals

Duvall/Carnation – In the regular season, the Sno Valley Rookie Red Wolves proved they were a force to be reckoned with. The team outscored their opponents 215-8 with seven consecutive defensive shutouts launching them into the playoffs. The Red Wolves continued to dominate in the quarter and semi finals sending them to play in the championship on Nov. 20 against Canyon Park, the only team to score a touchdown against the Red Wolves in the regular season. The championship proved to be a tough defensive showdown until the final two minutes when Canyon Park scored an unanswered touchdown for the 6-0 win.

“These kids did something no other Valley football team has done before in the regular season,” said head coach Coy Chittenden. “These guys have every reason to be proud of themselves and this team.”

“This year we knocked on the door, next year we hope to kick it in,” added coach Chris Minnie.
