County may ban trans fats; require labeling

People in King County aren’t eating healthily enough, so the King County Board of Health is considering regulating restaurants to help improve their diets.

The Board of Health will decide this week whether to adopt new laws that would ban trans fats in county restaurants and require chain restaurants to label menus with calorie and other health content.
