The latest changes at Snoqualmie Valley Hospital include the opening of a new primary care clinic at the hospital campus, while the hospital’s Maple Valley clinic is changing hands this year.
The hospital administration also moved in November to a suite of offices on Snoqualmie Ridge.
Last month, the hospital announced the opening of a new primary care clinic at the current hospital campus, 9575 Ethan Wade Way S.E. The provider at the clinic, Theresa Wittenberg, is a physician’s assistant trained in family practice.
Wittenberg sees patients by appointment, and also provides an alternative for patients who might otherwise use the emergency department for non-emergency visits.
“My goal is to have each patient become more involved in their health care, understanding how each action affects their overall well-being and empowering them to make informed decisions,” Wittenberg said. “Caring for my patients means treating the whole person. My training and experience allow me to take the time with each patient to develop a unique relationship featuring respect, compassion and even a little personality.”
