The Mount Si boys’ soccer team honored its seniors for their years of service to the Wildcat soccer program on Tuesday, May 1, and the Class of ’07 got to celebrate in style as Mount Si used a dominant first half to put away winless Issaquah and solidify their playoff position.

Senior Gibson Bardsley and his junior teammate Adam Baumgardner each scored a pair of goals as the Wildcats rolled to a 6-0 victory.

“Best senior night I’ve had here since ’02. This is what it’s all about, getting yourself in an opportunity where we can do things that we want to do and see people in different positions do some things,” said Mount Si coach Darren Brown. He added, “To credit my team, they did everything fundamentally that I asked them to do tonight. If we play like this, we’re going to be pretty darn hard to beat.”
