Sounders coming to town

Fancy footwork: The Seattle Sounders Select Women's team will be playing a game at Mount Si High School against the California Storm July 8 at 1 p.m., with pre-game activities starting at 11 a.m. The team features Mount Si High graduate and WSU standout Lindsey Jorgensen at goal keeper. The Select Women will compete in the provisional Pacific Northwest Division of the W-League, a women's league in the United Soccer Leagues (USL). There are 36 teams playing in the W1 and W2 divisions and the Sounders Select intend to join the W-League as a full-fledged member in 2001. Tickets for the event are $5 each with a complimentary ticket for that night's men's Sounders game included.
