Mount Si unable to claim second win against Monroe

Despite their strong start, the Mount Si Wildcats were unable to get their second win this season at the Sept. 9 home game against Monroe.

Despite their strong start, the Mount Si Wildcats were unable to get their second win this season at the Sept. 9 home game against Monroe.

Monroe scored the first touchdown of the game but were unable to score their extra point conversion. Mount Si followed up with a touchdown, making the score 7 to 6 going into the second half.

Monroe pulled ahead of Mount Si with two late-game touchdowns leaving the final score at 19 to 7.

Mount Si’s next game will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16 vs Bothell at Mount Si High School.
