John McCurry

Long time Fall City resident John McCurry passed away late Saturday, September 3, 2016 surrounded by his devoted family at his home in Easton, WA at the age of 74.

John lived in Fall City for 71 years before deciding to take advantage of the beautiful Washington summers and the warm California desert winters. Before retiring, John was a very successful business owner and guided his company, Sea-Aire, Inc. through 34 years before proudly passing leadership to his daughter Jennifer and son-in-law Pat. Sea-Aire is now in the midst of its 36th year.

John will be dearly missed by his entire family and close friends – and especially by his immediate family.

John leaves Judy, his loving wife of 51 years, his oldest daughter Teresa McCurry-Reed (Tim; from Newport, WA), middle daughter Debbie McCurry (from Los Angeles, CA) and youngest daughter Jennifer McCurry-Ward (Pat; Auburn, WA). John was also blessed with four grandchildren (DeAnn Reed-Sawyer, Matt Reed, Logan Ward and McKenna Ward) and 5 great-grandchildren (Tommy, Everett, Jordan and Lucas Sawyer and Paxton Reed).

John was preceded in death by his father, George Chesley “Ches” McCurry, mother Ruby Alice Hoover-McCurry and beloved brother Rick McCurry. John is survived by his sisters Patricia Thompson and Carol MacBean and brother Jim “JJ” McCurry.

John’s family invites you to celebrate his life on Sunday, September 18th at Preston Community Center (8625 310th Ave SE, Preston, WA) with a potluck open house from noon to 4:30pm.
