Hank Van Liew, a five-foot-11, 205-pound linebacker from Mount Si High School, will be a Concordia College Cobber.
He’s the sole Washington player to commit to Concordia in Moorhead, Minn., as part of the 2013 recruiting class.
Concordia is coming off one of the best seasons in recent history. The Cobbers went 8-2 overall and tied for second place in the league standings with a 6-2 record. Both win totals were the most since the 2005 season.
The biggest numbers for the incoming Cobber class falls in the interior line where 12 offensive linemen and six defensive linemen have committed to Concordia.
Van Liew was a first-team all-Kingco linebacker and was named “Mr. Defense” in end-of-year Wildcat team awards.
