Guests of honor

Lee Briggs, left, and Gil Pettersen, were the guests of honor at last Friday's grand opening of the Mount Si sports complex. The pair played on the first-ever Wildcat football team in the fall of 1944. Pettersen is credited with having scored the very first Mount Si touchdown against Kent in that same year.
