A Snoqualmie Valley recreational soccer team for boys under 14, the Green Wall, represented District 2 in the semi-finals of the Washington State Recreation Cup, Saturday. Of the 10 boys U14 teams in district 2, the Green Wall was the only team to advance this far.

They were scheduled to compete against the Mukilteo Lightning, District 1 champions, and the District 5 SWYSA VUSA FC Bulls.

The Green Wall is coached by Scott Mitchell, head coach, and Brett Dwight, assistant coach. Team members include Isaac Bottemiller, Josh Dwight, Brenden Ellis, Jason Garvin, James Human, Louis Human, Ryan Hungerpiller, Scott Kindelberger, Connor Lane, Nicolas Mayer, Blake Miller, Kinson Mitchell, Andrew Ross, Aidan Schriver, Eli Spence, Sam Thompson and Teagan Urquhart.
