Fever brings home trophy

The Valley Fever 12U fastpitch team traveled to Moses Lake recently to participate in the Sun Basin Invitational ASA tournament.
The 12U team sent the Angels home to the Tri-Cities early during elimination play on Sunday, then faced the No.1-seed Moses Lake Ice in a game that was exciting to the last pitch. Down 8-9 in the seventh inning with two outs and the tying run on third base, Fever saw strike three called on a pitch that looked way inside to everyone but the umpire. Valley Fever prevailed in the following game, bringing home the third-place trophy.
The Valley Fever Fastpitch Softball Club will be hosting an NSA state qualifying 10U/12U tournament at Centennial Field in Snoqualmie on June 4 and 5. Come enjoy some very competitive girls' softball and cheer for the local Valley Fever teams.
