Open burning ruins many a fall day

Letter to the Editor

I’m opposed to any open burning. It smells bad. It makes my

wife’s asthma worse. I live in North Bend and there are days in fall, winter and

spring that are just awful to be outside. It’s a shame since I love the outdoors.

It seems to me that humans should evolve beyond slash and burn

technology.
