Letter | Online Best of the Valley survey doesn’t represent everyone’s choices

It's very disappointing that in order to have input in the Best of the Valley contest, we must not only do it online, but we must even set up an individual account complete with password, agreeing to terms of service and a privacy agreement. It's not worth it.

Maybe you need to rename the contest to something that more accurately reflects the narrow category of people who will be willing to bother jumping through all the hoops to vote. Maybe Choice of the Valley Onliners, Valley Onliners Choice, or Choice of the Nerds.

One thing is for sure. Those who are chosen as the Best of the Valley no longer reflect the choice of the full spectrum of the valley’s residents.
