The Snoqualmie Valley Kiwanis Club would like to thank the community and the businesses that helped make this year’s Giving Tree program an overwhelming success, despite all the setbacks caused by the floods and extended power outage. Without the huge support the community gave by donating the gifts, we would not have been able to help those families in need.

The Kiwanis Club would like to thank the following businesses and organizations for allowing us to set up a donation station in their place of business: Cascade Office Supply, QFC, Safeway, ACE Hardware, Bibo’s Coffee, Fall City library, The Village IGA, Mike’s Cascade Grill, Falls Pharmacy, Blimpie’s, North Bend library, the Moose Lodge, Eastside Self Storage, Sno Falls Credit Union and Sterling Savings Bank.

A very special “thank you” for all the hard work providing volunteers to staff this event goes to Karin Albaugh. The next big “thank you” goes to Diane Garding and her family and volunteers who manned the gift-wrapping station at the event.

We also would like to thank Francis Claffey and Claffey’s Painting for donating the use of the trailer and staff to help transport gifts to the Sallal Grange and their generous donation, and Frankie’s Pizza for feeding all the volunteers all three days. There are too many other volunteers to list, but I would like to thank, in particular, the staff at Sterling Savings Bank, Neil Bailey and Angela Barrus for all their hard work and the support they give to this project.

We hope to be able to ask for the support of this event next December.
