Family delighted to have dog back

Letter to the Editor.

I would like to recognize the exceptional service and humanity of

the gentlemen working at Super Rent in North Bend. Last Sunday my dog

ran away, and for three days I was worried sick that something bad

might have happened to her. Luckily enough she had the smarts to go to a

store nearby (Super Rent), and it was there that she was “saved.” The

gentlemen working at Super Rent took her in, and each let her stay at their house, for

a period of three nights. During the day she stayed in the shop like a good

shop dog. They fed her and cared for her.

On Wednesday, one of the gentlemen went to the Valley Record to

display a “found dog” sign, and then actually found my “lost dog” sign at

the Marketplace Thriftway. He immediately called me, and I picked up

my dog.

The gentlemen at Super Rent went above and beyond the call of duty,

and I couldn’t thank them enough. I thought that by writing this letter,

the community could know what kind of “gentle men” these people really are.
