North Bend Planning Commission, in [last] week’s paper, has

actually taken the steps to invite input from the residents regarding future

development. Way to go North Bend! You are demonstrating you care about

the people who actually live in the city, not those who wish to make a

profit off it. Thank you.

With all the growth assaulting Snoqualmie, isn’t it time they

followed suit? There is no reason why all information cannot be made public

giving the residents who will be living with the city’s decisions input about

their homes and the future of the city they support and hold dear, and not the

interest of those who hope to make a profit off the brutalization.

This is the year 2000. With all the technology available, how about

videotaping the meetings, allowing everyone to hear and see what is going

on? Wake up Snoqualmie.
