The Northwest Railway Museum’s annual benefit promises a culture- and history-filled evening with proceeds helping the century-old chapel car 5, Messenger of Peace.

The public is invited to Working on the Railroad, Friday, March 4, at the Salish Lodge & Spa, 6501 Railroad Ave. in Snoqualmie.

The tickets-only event includes a no-host bar, dinner, silent auction and a progress update on Messenger of Peace. A brief auction of selected big ticket items will precede the feature presentation of the evening, “A Twentieth Century Missionary Method.” Performers from Valley Center Stage will share stories of life lived on the rails. 

Tickets are $75 and can be purchased online at www.trainmuseum.org and at the Snoqualmie Depot in downtown Snoqualmie.
