Thomas toot-toots into town

Thomas the Tank Engine, inset, brings a big smile to the face of Wyatt Belcher, 3, and his dad John, both of Omak. They were in Snoqualmie for a ride on a train based on the the Public Broadcasting System children's show about a train engined named Thomas and his friends. Thomas was in town July 14-16 and will continue his visit July 20-23, carrying an expected 18,000 riders. The Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie invites the train star to the Valley every summer.
